Founder of Vessel Strategy & Consulting
Annie holds an MSW and an MPA from the University of Washington's School of Social Work and Evan's School of Public Affairs, specializing in organizational management and community organizing.
If you work with Vessel Consulting, you will likely work closely with Annie and a team of partners she brings in for your project.
Here is more about her philosophy and consulting style:
"Ever since I can remember, I have been organizing cupboards and calling club meetings to order. My love of a club and clean cupboards inform my consulting style. For me, it’s about getting the job done well and facilitating with grace along the way. It’s about coming into a project that is complex and stressful and working with a team to deliver results and create positive change with less stress, more connection, and more fun. I never forget that projects, organizations, and communities are made up of individual, diverse people. Positive change happens when ALL the people involved are engaged and listened to.
Check out what clients have to say in their own words about my facilitation & consulting, and Vessel’s teams approach.
I am a social worker by trade and training so I am always listening for the whole picture and looking at the whole person. My leadership coaching delivers clean, clear plans for forward movement — but I always circle back to the individual’s true desires and the team’s larger needs. I am two-thirds cheerleader and one-third ass-kicker with a good sprinkling of strategy.
When working with a team, I offer individual strengths-based coaching and pay attention to the diverse perspectives of the team members. I work with teams to achieve a common purpose that honors distinct experiences and needs. We build toward courageous communication, clear agreements, and ways of working together that foster joy and manifest action."
